Operator: Famous Studios Inc.
Applies to: Content hosted on or made available through diljitdosanjh.com
Famous Studios Inc. (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of diljitdosanjh.com (the "Site") to do the same. This Policy describes how we respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), and how affected users may respond. It supplements the Terms of Service, the Legal Notice, and the Fan Content Policy.
7.1 Reporting Alleged Infringement
If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material available on the Site infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to our Designated Agent (Section 7.5). To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include substantially the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the owner, or a person authorised to act on the owner's behalf, of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (such as the URL).
- Information reasonably sufficient to let us contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
7.2 Our Response
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material that is claimed to be infringing, and we will take reasonable steps to notify the user who provided the material that we have done so. We may forward your notice, including your contact details, to that user.
7.3 Counter-Notice
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to our Designated Agent containing substantially the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person's agent.
After we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complaining party. If that party does not notify us within 10 business days that it has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material in our discretion, consistent with the DMCA.
7.4 Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, the accounts or access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the Site or remove content for users who repeatedly post or share infringing material.
7.5 Designated Agent
Notices and counter-notices should be sent to our Designated Agent:
Designated Agent: Copyright Agent, Famous Studios Inc.
Company: Famous Studios Inc.
Email: support@diljitdosanjh.com
Post: Famous Studios Inc., 376 Drummond Drive, Hayward, CA 94542, Attn: DMCA Designated Agent
Only DMCA notices and counter-notices should be sent to the Designated Agent. For other matters, use the contacts in the Legal Notice. We may, where appropriate, register our Designated Agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.
7.6 International Copyright Concerns
Although this Policy follows the DMCA framework, we welcome good-faith infringement reports from rights holders worldwide and will assess them under applicable law. Reports about trademarks, publicity rights, or other non-copyright matters should be directed to support@diljitdosanjh.com.
